300 January 11th, 2012 BREAKING NEWS: OLTL’s Howarth, DePaiva, Alderson and Easton head to General Hospital!

Well how about this one folks! Leave it to Super Exec, Frank Valentini to keep some of your favorites from Llanview still kicking amidst all the doom and gloom of this week!

Soap Opera Digest is confirming that Roger Howarth (Todd), Kassie DePaiva (Blair), Kristen Alderson (Starr) and Michael Easton (John) are all headed to General Hospital and reprising their roles as the Manning Family and John McBain as they move over to Port Charles! According to SOD, the foursome will report to the set of General Hospital at the end of this month!

Frank Valentini, the new EP of GH and former head honcho at OLTL stated, “We have a very exciting story planned for the citizens of Port Charles, with Sonny Corinthos at the center of it! I am confident viewers and fans alike will be excited for the arrival of John, Starr, Blair and Todd, which incorporates the characters from One Life to Live and continues the legacy of the show as we weave them into General Hospital!”

Sorry Val, I just don’t SEE it! She is FAR from gorgeous, and she has ZERO chemistry with Sonny! It’s like they are just FORCING the two of them as a couple, down our throats, as if she was some great love of Sonny’s! Everyone knows that BRENDA was the love of Sonny’s life, and after her, it would be CARLY, and possibly even Olivia BEFORE “Kate”! (Let’s not forget, Hannah, Angel, Reese, etc… who ALL had more sparks with him that THIS chick!) She is just not a good match with him, and no matter HOW MUCH they push her down our throats, she doesn’t have, and never WILL have, any chemistry with Sonny–sorry!

Your right, she is FAR from gorgeous. They have to put heavy make up on that chic for her to be gorgeous. And her hair must be worn back. If its out, she dont look to good. I think they are forcing it. We neee a Brenda lookalike or Brenda herself back. Hannah would be nice BUT that would be strange since Johnathan Jackson is back at home in REAL LIFE with Hannah (Brenda lookalike). Who is Angel, can’t remember her? I wouldn’t mind them exploring the relationship of Oliver and Sonny, for a perfect family with Dante. I don’t like any of the Kates. Did you like the other Kate? Brenda could come came and fight with Blair about their husbands business ventures. I dont like they gave Brenda a baby. That was bad writing. They need to retrack that. It was horrible. Did you like the other Kate? Which one you like best if you had to. Why?

What about Jolie? Finally together after all these months waiting for him to find out Liam is his and now he is off to Port Charles. I am excited about this but they need to keep the storyline of Jolie to continue.
I cannot believe John will leave Liam and Natalie. Hopefully Melissa Archer will be asked and she will accept.

I waited many years for a Jolie reunion, and if Natalie (Melissa Archer) and Liam are not part of the package I will not watch. It doesn’t ring true to his character to leave his family. I am happy for the OLTL actors who are going, but feel like they are using our loyalty to OLTL to try and increase GH ratings. I wish GH well and am a fan, but I don’t want them messing with the John, Natalie, and Liam story. Micheal Easton should go on there as a Cassadine rather than John McBain if the characters of Natalie and Liam are not going.

Hope they have Natalie (Melissa Archer) join John McBain. I am so excited, I am sure all fans of OLTL. as we all will truely miss the show. I love Rex and Gigi and Shane and Roxy loved to have them on GH but I know they could only bring so many of but it would be cool for them to put both shows on together. Thank You

It will be interersting to see what they come up with as to why these characters are now in Port Charles. I’m very excited at the prospect that this will bring! I am also anxious to see if Jack (although I hope not, since Micheal is one spoiled, entitled, bratty kid too many, at this point) and Sam make it too. How would they explain Todd and Blair leaving them? As well as how they would explain John leaving Liam after just finding out he is his kid. Now that GH has a bigger budget, they defintiely need to get rid of charaters that aren’t important to the storyline or history and bring back those we love! I. E., Jax and Nikolas! Hopefully they could persuade Jonathan Jackson to come back too and lighten his work load since that’s what caused him to leave in the first place. And MAYBE they could even bring back Vanessa Marcil and fix the mockery they made of my beloved Brenda the last time she passed through town!

I totally agree! If John McBain goes to Port Charles, then Natalie has to go with him! Otherwise, this storyline just isn’t gonna work for me and a lot of other fans. I waited a long time to see Natalie and John to finally get back together, so I really don’t want it to get messed up or taken away if John goes to PC without Natalie. Also, I’m wondering how long the OLTL characters will be on GH? I still want OLTL to continue somehow, even if it’s only on once a week!

I’m beyond thrilled as ever!!! But we need the rest of Llanview to arrive in Port Charles, especially Natalie w/ Liam in tow to be with John McMBain!!! I also wanted to see Dani and Tea Delgado too, O and cute Jack Manning, along w/ Clint & Viki, Rex &Gigi w/ Shane, Roxy too.
I’m excited as ever for February to arrive. I’m happy as a clam. Blair better not throw Carly out of any windows.!!!!

Uh, if they bring on too many OLTL people, GH will become OLTL.02! LOL! I am glad to see these fine actors reprising their roles on GH (even though it’s a soap I never could get into). I will give it a go when they make their first appearances. I never would’ve gotten into OLTL if it hadn’t been for the Bianca/Babe/Kelly babyswitch storyline in 2004. And, I never regretted watching every minute of it for the last 7 years! I wish them all the luck!

Isn’t Jack Manning cute? He gets such a BEATING UP ON. I love those MANY facial expressions he makes, along with that High Sch boys walk of his. And his acting will get better, he is just a rocky yet. People have to keep that in mind.

I agree! John without Natalie & Liam is just too tragic. Love the fact that GH is making space available for some of the actors to relocate to GH. There’s more room… Ethan’s storyline with the lady in white is boring, and Ethan has so much more to offer! Please keep Ethan, and clean house. OLTL had a lot of spectacular actors on its show, and they need the work!

We need to bring in more stars from One Life To Live lets bring in Natalie, all Todd’s kids, his twin brother and his wife. Also bring in vicki, clint, and Jessica. Now that would make for a very exciting soap with the best of OLTL and the best of GH. We can do away with the woman in white her doc, the old story line with the Cassadines. Keep Sonny and Kate, his kids, Carly & Jax, Sam and Jason, of couse Luke& Emma his kids, Maxie her parents. You can keep the dr’s at port charles but dont see any reason to have much of a story with them. That seems to be pretty borring. I think with the group of OLTL and GH this could be the best soap ever combining the best two soaps there every was.

Natalie needs to go to Port Charles too! I don’t want John with Carly & she would go after him right away. If we can’t keep OLTL as it is the next best thing is to incorporate it into GH, make a blend of the two. Sure can’t hurt GH & would give us OLTL fans a little peace.

Natalie needs to go to Port Charles also. I would hate for them to get back together on One Life to Live at the end just to end up not together on General Hospital. That wouldn’t work at all. Please bring back Natalie with John on General Hospital.

I’ve always liked John and Natalie together, but she’s a bit much. She got over Jared waaay too quickly and zoomed in on John when she knew John was with Marty. Although I don’t know how they could possibly get John to GH without Natalie, especially after getting them back together again and knowing that Liam is his son, I’m sure the writers will figure out a way. Either way, for me, Natalie won’t be missed.

Yep, it is a shame. I woke up with a feeling of loss this morning knowing that oltl would not be on again, at least in that format. I know it is just a show, but for a lot of us it is tied into other things that have happened in our lives. While I was taking care of my dying father we would talk about the shows together once in a while….

What a stupid idea! John McBain – of the hugely popular pairing of John and Natalie – will be going to GH without Natalie and Liam?? You know they will be testing Michael Easton with Kelly Monaco! This will piss off Jolie and Jasam fans…and be a disaster. Plus, John is a good, smart cop and Sonny and Jason are never wrong in the fictional world of PC…this can’t be a good development. It proves to me that ABC wants GH to be canceled. I won’t watch this!

Like so many other fans, I’ve gotten VERY SKEPTICAL, &, by the way ABC has been canceling their SOAPs one after the other, it sounds like they’re LEANING more toward CANCELING “GH,” too, than not!

I hope this is not at the expense of GH veterans and fave, if the newbies have to be sacrifice then ok, even though i’m beginning to enjoy some of them, but it would be a big mistake to make GH into OLTL, don’t get me wrong, i’m a oltl fan, But us GH fanatics will raise hell if this starts to become an invasion of to many OLTL actors, a few is ok but not if they’re going to sacrifice are vets.

I don’t watch GH but I totally agree with aria. GH is not OLTL. I hope that they do not turn into OLTL II. That would be unfair to the fans of that show as well as to its history.

What is with all this vitriol? Believe me, when the OLTL actors go to GH, it will be to blend them into the stories going on now, not the other way around. And, if OLTL fans DID outnumber the GHer’s, GH would’ve been cancelled, not OLTL. GH is the highest rated soap on ABC.

WHAT vets? That’s the whole problem with GH-their lack of use of the best! When is the last time Alexis had sex? She has virtually no storyline. Tracy with awful old Anthony? GROSS. They ran Luke into this ground this year-awful what they did to him. Lucky is gone, Robin is gone. Bobbie who? What does Monica do everyday? Now Carly playing with Johnny? Jax creeping around in the shadows? NuKate-not a winner. Maxie (nu-& regular) get on my nerves to the point of having to hit the mute button when she gets going, not to mention getting Maxie & Spinelli together. Does anyone realize that Michael is the full blood grandson of Monica Quartermaine & Bobbie Spencer? These two mainstay characters-with all that the writers have put Michael through-are these two women ever in a scene with him? Bobbie is just gone & Monica might as well be. THIS IS HISTORY that should be written around every day! When he was in prison they should have visited him. When he was in a coma they should have been seen at his bedside. This is where GH falls so short & OLTL shines. HISTORY! FAMILY CONNECTIONS!

your right about all the the cast ,thats because everyday its sonny this and that,I dont want anthony with tracey ,but for some strange reason I like him ,johnny has to a have a father ,anthony does have a way with words,he always makes me laugh, I did not like when he brought lisa out of the coma she was in ,I wanted to reach out and strangle him.but aside from that I like the guy,they have to retire all the mob people,I dont care how ,they just got to go.and bring back the quartermaines.

Gloria i don’t disagree with you, i would love to see Bobbie, Monica, Lesly, and for sure more balance, i know everytime someone criticizes the show they go to sonny or jason or carly as their pushing bag, thats what the old regime did wrong they made the show center around these few characters at the expense of the others, but its not the actors fault, we keep forgetting that Maurice and Steve are extremely popular actors with a huge following and they are paying the price and the blame for what the old regime did wrong. but hopefully this new team coming in will do their homework, and balance this show rich history.

Exactly. I complimented you earlier today. I am a GH fan..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rather it’s Boring or not. I put on the channel and listen to it and program my TV to come on when I’m not at home at 3pm, so it can get it’s ratings. I dont want this show to turn into OLTL. Especially with them puting character’s on like Blair and Starr which are not COMPLEX, and dementional to fit into GH. Todd is, but he doesn’t deserve the job offer, after vacating the role too many times to count, and the rest of the cast is on the unemployement line. If they wanted to use some OLTL character’s, it should of been the MOST COMPLEX one. Jessica, John McBain, Roxy, Dorian, Victor, then I would exact Todd and Roger Howarth going for storyline purposes only.

I agree. I’m not a GH fan (although I will check out these changes), but bringing over too many OLTL actors will just dilute what GH has going now. Sorry that OLTL was cancelled, believe me, but I’m sure the writers want to incorporate the OLTL actors into the GH canvas without turning GH into OLTL.02.

Him getting with Elizabeth is like him being with Natalie…. (though I like them together) BUT it would be simular. McBain needs a REAL woman, not a little girl. Natalie is like a girl, although I like them together, not love them together. Elizabeth is like a little girl to me still. babies and all. It would be like he and Natalie but far…………..worst.

Some GH fans (who aren’t OLTL fans) might object to this crossover, but I think that it’s great! I look forward to McBain (hopefully, Natalie and Liam will join him eventually) and the Mannings mixing it up with the citizens of PC. Looks like I’ll have to start tuning in to GH again at the end of February.

Washed up? I guess you didn’t see her scenes all last year with Jack. She was fantastic-Emmy worthy. And you must have missed her in bed with Tomas-still hot! And I guess missed every other scene she’s been in. She is gorgeous as ever & what accent? (kidding here, I am southern too) But washed up? I don’t THINK so.

Um, excuse me Ms. Gloria. Kassie DePaiva isn’t washed up at all. She’s in her 40s & She’s great. I can’t wait til Carly meets up w/ Blair.
Now I know that Leslie Charleson is an older actress but has “History w/ GH.” I’ve been watching GH since I was 17 years old, yes during the Luke & Laura Saga back then. So Let’s just say something nice and not be so mean etc. If you want to be mean go watch the News , it’s awful in the Middle East etc. Thank You much.

Josie, I agree with you that her character is not fitting for Port Charles. Blair fits best in Landview with it’s ‘s cow boys and gals, and plays well with Blair’s Southern drawl. The character of Blair and Starr you can find on ANY soap, kinda like you said regarding Starr…. being way overated. For a OLTL character to go to GH, they need to be extremely COMPLEX and different. Victor, Roxy, Jessica, Vicky, Dorian, John, and yes Todd. But Todd, Roger Howarth isn’t deserving of this having vacated the role more times than people can count, while the other actor’s are on the unemployement line, including Trevor St. John, who was dismissed, when Howarth returned. I will not forgive OLTL for this, no matter how much I love the show, nor abc. Howarth comes back for 5 months, and gets the new gig, NOT. It’s **** **!

for a very long time ,I have called gh the sonny corithos show ,I love one life to live would rather it stays on .I have just put up with gh ,but now I believe things will start getting better again in port charles.Its been a very long time since general hospital was really good.Its always the same thing going on. I hope that jason pops off franco ,and he stays dead,for good.Looks like its going to happen this week,ILL be watching..

What about Natalie and Liam? They need to be with John, since he is going over to PC on GH now. They need to get married and be together like a family. Liam is his son. I know that he does not want to be away from his son. He wants to be with him. He ought to want to be with his mother, Natalie.
John cannot go to Port Charles at GH without Liam and Natalie.
Starr cannot be without her daughter Hope either.
They, also, need to get some people over from AMC as well over there.
OLTL better end happy in order for them to go to GH’s turf to continue on.

PLUS, the more people that go to GH from OLTL, the more OLTL fans will watch GH because of the people of OLTL.
I’m a big fan of OLTL, but if a lot of people go to GH from OLTL, then I will be definately watching GH because of that. And so will a lot of people.

watched GH over the years ….it never could hold my interest longer than two weeks here and there.
Looking forward to GH now that some of my favorite characters from OLTL will be moving over.
The Mannings are interesting ….I would hope Dorian would move over too. But I doubt that would happen.

I can’t stand Roger Howarth! The only reason i started watching OLTL again is because they replaced him with Trevor. He’s a marvelous actor and not bad to look at either. Gluggggg. I can’t fathom why anyone would want Roger Dodger over Trevor. Have basically watched OLTL and GH since they started. Love these soaps, but your right GH has slipped a bit out of 1st place for me and OLTL had crept into the slot. I hope this all works.!

It’s funny, I actually thought about John going to PC and cleaning up the town and I thought about the Mannings excluding Starr. But no Natalie? John just got his son back, why would he leave both of them? I am glad they are on for however long it lasts, but Jolie fans have been waiting forever…why would they leave her out especially since they were going online before it fell through? Oh well.

I don’t trust ABC /Disney either . I think they are doing this to shut up the fans for awhile. Just as they did giving Prospect Park the rights of AMC and OLTL knowing that they would not be able to pull it off and their mistake in cancelling these shows wouldn’t be noticed.

Bittersweet. Glad the actors get jobs. Sad OLTL is cancelled. Not a GH fan at all, but will have to fast forward over scenes except OLTL characters.
Now they’ve got to bring Natalie and Liam, how about Clint and Vicki and DEFINITELY DAVID VICKERS and Dorian. Sorry, GH fans, I know this must be hard for you to hear.

Sorry Ann. They are on a budget. One show is only limited to so many cast, and they can’t bring back all your people when they have just hired 3 people, and U added 5 along to that.

Do not want. Crossovers are a desperate attempt and I don’t think they need to alienate GH viewers even more. Then again, I don’t watch OLTL. If it brings more fans/ratings, cool. But if it also alienates established fans of GH in the process, is it really worth it? Wouldn’t that balance out the status quo?

Ethel, with all due respect, you watch both shows. I’m talking about those of us that solely watch GH. A lot of people have wanted to jump ship as viewers for awhile now- myself not included- but the show has gone through so many changes this season that something this big *might* alienate viewers of only GH. It may not but it could.

What a brilliant move by Frank Valentini, and I am sure the first of many!!!!! I look forward to how he and Ron set the new canvas for Port Charles and their cast of wonderful characters!!! I am sooooo very excited about this move, and cannot wait to see the Mannings and John in Port Charles, they will fit in perfectly. John and Dante will be a good team at the PCPD!!!!! I am hopeful that Natalie will come at some point as well, as I would hate to see John only in work related storylines. Bravo Mr. Valentini and lots of good luck to all those involved. How about Rex taking over the role of Lucky Spencer or even a new role? I would love that too!!! I am on the positive train, and am hopeful that GH and all those involved with the show will have lots more longevity at ABC!!!!

I agree with 99% of what you wrote! FV is trying to gain viewers to GH by bringing over good talent from OLTL. Kudos abc for allowing this once you realized the hard way what an awful mistake you made cancelling the other soaps.

Get rid of the nonsense now at GH. LIW. Dr Ewan. Ethan. Maggie. Delores.

The only thing I MUST disagree with, is leave Gnat behind. HATE them as a couple. John can do better!!

Clearly ABC knows they cancelled the wrong show. They should take responsibility and cancel GH and bring back OLTL. This OLTLizing will be a mess. It a cheap stunt to shore up dismal GH ratings. As a fan for over 15 years, i won’t watch because One is the whole package, not just Todd. And ABC will do it again when Katie Couric gets her show.

I have to agree with Mr. Max. OLTL is a vastly superior soap to GH in writing, acting and remembering the history of the show. Although I miss AMC, it had been suffering for at least 4 years with poorly directed storylines that went nowhere, characters coming and mysteriously disappearing with storylines hanging. GH has gone down that same road. Bringing over OLTL actors can only help GH and increase viewership.

I’m not cancelling GH, Bob Iger and the Disney Board of Directors are. I’m just saying what is in the works, Katie can be stopped. If you want to stop this I suggest you buy lots of Disney stock and exercise your rights. Or get people to contact the Disney board, advertisers, and large investors and convince them they are making another mistake. IMO if they cared about the viewers, this would have never gotten this far. It should be clear that only economics rules the day. And, yes I am nuts (for OLTL).

Love this idea yes John can be a great crime solver in Port Charles. I wonder if the story line will have to change since John thinks that Todd killed Victor. Natalie needs to come along too>> I guess that star will become a STAR in Port Charles

I liked the AW few that moved from Bay City to ATWT and Oakdale but it did not last. Considering who in charge of GH now, I have to hope this relocation will work better. I wonder what the Mannings will do in upstate New York? Did we not read the actor playing Tomas Delgado was headed to GH, too? Hmmmmm… a renewed triangle? I assume Todd will be able to move on without murder charges hanging over his head in Llanview. It will have me following, for sure!

I sat thinking the other day that maybe they should put some of OLTL’s actors over on GH. I was shock when I actually saw the first commercial for it! I am very happy to see this, but not so happy when I saw a name missing on the list. Hello…Natalie!! She and John just got back together. Now you want to seperate them! Ugh… I wish Farah and JP were going over there too. I guess you can’t over due it though. Well I hope it brings in more viewers for GH. I would hate to see another great long time soap go under.

This is just ABC’s way of trying to keep the fans quiet. While I am happy for the stars who are going to be on GH, this is just bull. I still plan to boycott ABC daytime including the View. I hope that those that have made the same decision prior to this announcement, maintain their conviction.

you have to watch the view,so It gets high ratings then never watch it again,so the ratings sink,This is abcs way of keeping us quiet ,But its not going to work IM still very much pissed off at abc I want all my children back and one life to live to stay on.And this move by abc will not change .I watch general hospital then The channel gets changed,abc cant make a decision on whether or not to keep g.h..that speaks volumes .that still tells me that they dont give a rats ass about me.and I Dont give a rats ass about there stinking channel.

I was already planning to watch GH – which I never have before – because of Ron C. and Frank V. This news now makes me anxious to watch. Wether or not these are the 4 I might have chosen is irrelevant. They are all longtime characters at this point and all have fan bases.
Of course I can’t imagine daytime without Vicki and Clint, or Bo and Nora, or many, many other Llanview residents. But some just wouldn’t make sense, moving to Port Charles. Vicki leave Llanview??? Never in a million years. But maybe some of those characters can live on by the occasional guest appearance.
I really wish Florencia Lozano was making the move – I love Tea, and I think her and Blair’s friendship is one of the best things to develop, but I understand that she has no wish to live in Los Angeles. But Tea Delgado in Port Charles would be a force to be reckoned with!

Although I also watch GH I have not been watching the show these past few weeks b/c it’s a bit boring to me me but know with the manning’s and John joining I will definitely watch the show again.
I would love to see Natalie in the show being that she and John just reconciled.

gh has been sooo awful & boring, i have been watching since i was a kid with my mom…but now it is unrecognizable,, lately i fall asleep while watching it…too many gangsters…i hate that..i loved amc & oltl & this is not as good as having saved those soaps but at least it is something..please get rid of liz, lady in white, maggie & kate…someone has a blonde fetish..i am sooo sick of the writing of gangsters good (even though they kill people) police bad,,,s/l’s…i love roger, kassie, kristen & michael (john makes jason’s strong silent type look like mud)…would like to see him stay with Natalie but beggars can’t be choosers I guess..whoever has been doing the new casting needs to to replaced at GH…that Ewen guy is kinda cute…though The new writers are moving in the right direction…please use these talented people you are bringing with you because I think there is a lot of untalented weirdos on GH now..

I’m not happy about the news. First of all, Roger Howard vacated the role of Todd and was found on other shows. Tever St. John came in and made that role his own, so Howard expresses an interest in returning (I’m sure the economy had something to do with it/or vise versa, and Trevor was out of a job ( take and bow and be dismissed). They wouldn’t even let Trevor St. John STAY until the end as he wanted to. Now Roger, (a trader) who gave up the role of Todd gets to get a ANOTHER JOB in the role of Todd, in sunny Californial on GH. That is **** ** and so unfair and disloyal to St.John. I dont want to see THAT FACE over at GH. Soaptown USA has the BEST, “what if ” character’s of who could FIT into GH, along with Plots their character could play. Tea is a perfect fit for Sonny, and Carly Rival. Michael/McBain-doing what he does fighting crime, with no Natalie (but calling in) and mayb Natalie visiting him , here and there OR ben killed off. Bree/Jessica as some new character (I forgot what she would do). Dorian as Sonny’s mother, to give light to his past., and Vicki as a Homeless lady (Get on Soaptown USA and Read it for yourself, there is more I can’t remember it all, bc it was in detail and it was at 2am when I read it). I adore Kassie, but I dont think she shold go to GH, and that goes for Star which other’s on this site spoke about it already, I am not a fan of Howard, bc of how St. John was dismissed from the role I was never a Todd fan. These are not the characters I would agree with. Roxy would be GREAT at GH with Tea and John. Roxy can fit in anywhere as Roxy. Also, Kassie is married to (Max) James Depaiva, and they have a hearing impaired son. This kid has to be UPROOTED to L.A from his school where he does sigh language with his longtime class mates, and moved across the country, or is she going to fly home every other weekend until that gets old? Why brake up her OLTL family? What happens to Jack, and the cute little kid, his little brother? abc has broken up her kassie’s OLTL family and Real Life family. BAD CHOICE. BAD ASS CHOICE. Roger wins after coming back to the role, what for 6 months? Horrible. There are many people at OLTL who could have easily FIT into GH and those 3 aren’t the 3 of them. It’s horrible. Then bring the Blair’s whole family, don’t leave out her son’s. No woman leaves her little one, and he will definitely not be seen if he isn’t going. NO, NO and No.

Jack will probably be in jail or shipped off to boarding school – something he could use. Sam is cute, but could be recast.

I wouldn’t go on about the actors’ personal lives – it is their choice to do what they want. They want to work and make money, just like anyone else. Besides, maybe there is something else going on we do not know about. Maybe by bringing OLTL characters in, Prospect Park might still make the online thing happen. We just don’t know.

So THAT you know, I’m not for “like” (You said I dont like Howarth) I’m not for “like” I’m for “right”.
Sometimes we can’t see an unjust in a situation, until it happens to us, or someone close to us. You would feel some ‘ kind of way ‘, if you worked a job from 8 year’s to 30 + year’s, and the job moved, and someone that wasn’t as loyal to the company as you, EVEN though you did a FINE job as the next person ( Trevor ) and had a strong audience base/ stronger (Howarth) and the LESS dedicated person over the year’s was offered to move along with the company after a 5 month return..! That’s all I’m saying. Don’t be so caught up in your “own self gratifiicaton” ha ha, that you fail to look at the REAL LIFE ASPECTS of THIS SITUATION. As a person who has worked with Special Needs, and keeping up with Kassie and her telling about her child (which is not private, BECAUSE she made it Public) I know WHAT it requires working with handicap chiildren, especially hearing impaired. The child probably won’t be making the move immediately (therefore he will be missing his mom) until the move. Then, he will have to leave his classmates/teacher’s -behind and be uprooted across country. These shows and character’s are not REALITY, but the LIVES THEY LIVE are!

Iloveabcsoaps….CHILL!!!!!! The is a fictional story on daytime TV! Let the writers do their jobs, and as far as what the actors do with their personal lives, is alot like the rest of us. They go where there is work. They are the lucky ones, they at least get another 6 months of employment.
No child is going to fly to LA for a part. They are offering jobs to the best actors to bring viewers to GH.
As far as the comments on the Todds go, who sat in on negotions to know what really went on? I mean, seriously, get a grip!

Either get on the train and enjoy and support the ride, or get off at the next stop.

you sound pissed off,I wont get into todd and victor , but these two could have had some good story lines ,but we ran out of time.I still heard several times trevor st john wanted to leave,would be interesting to find out the truth behind that .Abc is in deep shit with the one life to live fans,I am one of them ,I wont change my mind about the canceling of the soaps I watch g.h.then the channel is changed,But I do think its a good Idea to help general hospital. and bringing one life to live to port charles could save the soap,If one life to live cant be saved,and i believe the fight for that soap should continue,lets keep the cast alive in another city for now bring even more ,maybe thats what the plan is ,But if oltl can be saved they can all go back to landview,I do think that abc is using this to make us watch there loud new shows ,well, this soap fan isnt going to do it,you have to give our one live to live oops,general hospital writers a chance,and they need our help to get the ratings up,Im sure you dont want g.h gone to.go to facebook /daytime fans unite be counted also go to a petition to give agnes nixon the rights to get her soaps back.its called agnes nixon swan ,help her out .the fight is not over.

Hey Barbara: Thanks for your insite. If you want to know the truth about Trevor, St. John, READ his interview on this site, and you will see why I’m not happy about Howarth coming out with a job when he left the role many times (according to another poster on this site-which I know to be true) over Trevor and other LOYAL cast who were around year after year after year. Trevor wanted to stay on until the end, OLTL didn’t want him to. I’m for doing whatever needs to be done to save GH, cross over’s, etc… I just dont agree its starts with Blair, Starr (both I’m fond of). U can find these character type’s on any soap. GH needs the most complex character’s, something that they dont have over at GH. Someone who is complex, diffedrent from everyone of their character’s….. Yes, that is Roger (but he is not deserving of it) he vacated the role MANY times, and stays employed while other loyal cast are on the unemployement line.. John McBain is complex (he is going) Roxy (who can fit in on any show-U wont find her character type of any soap), Dorian (Stresser is already in LA) Jessica, (very complex character) Vicky (who probably wouldn’t move to LA) and David, (Tuc, who is already in LA doing Desparate Housewives). You can’t find these character types on any soap, THEY are UNIQUE and COMPLEX and that’s what GH needs. I would be willing to deal with Roger Howarth (Todd) if they brought Trevor back to play out the story of the 2 Todd’s.

I have to read what you are talking about and yes I know what you mean about rodger leaving,several times. about roxie go to facebook to ,bring roxy to port charles,and like it ,at kassie depava and roxies sight I said that roxy should run the spencers diner she can serve alot of cups of coffee,how funny would that be ?the guy that use to run the diner, sonnys dad,he and roxie use to be on ryans hope.I do think with todd and victor there is so much story telling with those two,hopefully victor is alive.and they can meet up in port charles.I really liked the story of two todds.maybe victor is there now .That would be nice .

I agree. RH as Todd was one of the reasons I started watching OLTL. But he left the show more than once to the dismay of fans. When he left for ATWT, TSJ was asked to do the nearly impossible, take over a central role from a popular actor. The fans were asked to believe that TSJ was the REAL Todd and then had the rug pulled out from under then by Ron Carlivati, who IMO can’t write a letter. TSJ took a lot of grief at first from fans, but turned it around becoming one of the most liked actors. When ATWT was cancelled TSJ was IMO rudely dumped for the return of the prodigal son who IMO was not as good at being Todd as he once was. TSJ grew the role and made Todd grow up. Besides, two Todds would be better than one.

God damn Max. You wrote the shit out of that. I don’t want people to just agree with me, I want them to intellectualize why, and you do that and make the point so beautifully. I remember what TSJ went through with fans, people on here donot. He hung in there with us, and we hung in their with him! And as U stated he did nearly the impossible. And after he finished his masterpiece, he made us BELIEVER’S that he NOT ONLY was the REAL, but the ONLY Todd. And the other guy (Howarth) is the recast. Because you know, Howarth can feel how popular TSJ is, he knows the work he must put in to made Todd at least, HIS Todd again.

Three things: When was ATWT cancelled, did Howarth come right back to OLTL ? Why do you say that Ron Carlivati can’t write a letter? He is popular because of the shows popularity. And didn’t your enjoy OLTL here of late, and it’s finale? Just asking; your views are interesting.

I can see how John McBain would fit in but the Mannings oh well we shall see if they are not bringing Natalie I suspect it is to use Michael Easton for a love interest, I had heard they were looking at old tapes of him &KM when they were on Port Charles. And I personally think Kassie DePaiva is hot for 50. She does not need plastic surgery where her face does not move.

I really wish Florencia Lozano was making the move – I love Tea, and I think her and Blair’s friendship is one of the best things to develop, but I understand that she has no wish to live in Los Angeles. But Tea Delgado in Port Charles would be a force to be reckoned with.

Now this is person who know what they are talking about, ALONG with the person above who said that Jess/Tess could really spice things up over at GH. By the way, Jack can find himself over in some trouble with Michael, who they can bring Kristina back for him. And his CUTE adorable little brother. I waa looking forward to seeing him grow and develope BC he is so damn GOOD now!!!

I find this idea interesting, not only bringing on these actors, but the characters as well. However, I wonder how it’ll be written, because obviously Blair will not leave her children, Jack and Sam. Will Starr bring along Hope? Frank is a known Michael/Kelly fan from their PC days, so where does that leave Natalie, Liam, and Jolie fans (though I am not one of them)? I just hope they find a way to nicely tie it in without it being ridiculous.

My selfish wish would be for them to bring on Trevor St. John and Florenica Lozano- if only for one day- and just reunite Victor and Tea. Its most likely will not happen since FL is in NY and TSJ is doing other stuff, but ohmygod that’d be amazing. After what Frank & Ron did to them in the end, they deserve a happy ending on screen!

Well, it’s nice to see that you hold GH up to such a high standard….I will just agree to disagree…because I think that OLTL has a tremendously rich history. Superior to GH by far…again, that’s my opinion. Especially, if we discuss anything within the last 5-7 years….GH has been nothing but a cheap knock-off of HBO’s “Sopranos.” With all of the over emphasis of mobster activity. The show shouldn’t even be called GH, it should be called, “The Corinthos.” They are very fortunate to gain the talent of Ron & Frank, not to mention the acting talent that’s headed their way. But I’m still torn about this decision, because I would much rather see the Mannings featured on OLTL than GH.

No matter how I tried GH could only hold my attention for a couple of weeks at a time.

I am truly insulted and feel betrayed by this turn of events. It only reinforce my belief that PP was a sham from the beginning & FV & RC knew all along (they were tapped to head over to GH prior to the PP news) and this was planned since the signing of the first actors to the online show (ME, KDP, ES, & JVD).

I helped support and got others to help support the cause of keeping OLTL on the air and my first betrayl was the TSJ fiasco, but I still supported the cause; I could care less about GH & OLTL actors migrating because GH is not OLTL and migration has not work well in the past, so to me, it will be no different. I feel PP was a smoke screen & I now I strongly feel FV & RC were in on it and now ME & KDP knew as well. That is why KA did not sign up online because she already knew they had gigs in CA. PP gave them permission to use the characters is horse pukey.

I have faithfully viewed OLTL for over thirty years and I feel very betrayed that I used my monies and resources (Hoover & everything else) for a select few instead of the ensemble cast. To think, I was feeling so sorry for KDP & KA during your interview and as far as I am concerned, they knew the sweet sunny deal coming up & I want no part of this turn of events and their phoney tears & sincerity.

ABC Daytime have shown me that they are getting out of the soap business and after Friday, so am I. I refused to watch GH and everyone who I recruited to help save OLTL I will recruit again to not watch GH or OLTL if it is save. Especially for who they are bringing in to GH:

FV & RC: Snakes in the grass in my opinion. Company boys to the end and using fans for their cause; leave me out.
RH: A turncoat actor who peaked in 2002 and is being rewarded for leaving a role too many times to count and this is just disgusting for this viewer.
KA: A actress who peaked at age 14 for this viewer.
KDP: Always throught she was decent but this turn of events make me see that in my opinion she is a self serving actress (a sheep in wolf clothing)
ME: See KDP above.

This is only my opinion and feelings but all involved in this is just as foul as Brian Frons and ABC Daytime.

PEOPLE are so happy to see some of OLTL over at GH, that they aren’t thinking of the demographic’s involved in it. I, just addressed he would leave, and I’d see him on other channels while changing the channel headed to my abc soaps, and I’m like “Damn, he had a significant role on OLTL, with a Central character (Vicky’s Brother) and the PRIME NETWORK, abc, Why would he do that? I read year’s ago that he said, the role was getting to be to dark for him, YET in this recession, he came back, (rather he expressed an interest, OR the show in him) guess it wasn’t that dark. Then it was like to St. John (who held in there 8 year’s never leaving) it was like “take a bow and be dismissed.” Roger Howard never stayed on OLTL straight 8, 6, 5, year’s without a leaving and coming back. In this recession he returns and then to add insult to Trevor, and other STEADY caste member’s- lands a job in Sunny California. It’s horrible. Thank God, I have someone on here like myself that is thinking about more than my own happiness of seeing cross over’s. To celebrate this is WRONG!!!! BC it’s more like self gratification, so we can see some OLTL members on GH. Ok, but not Howard. I dont know if you are right about Kassie and Kristen knowing they had jobs at GH., but I like them, however, I can do without them on GH. Stacy, its dead wrong, bc GH is complex and unique in its right, and yes Todd is complex, but ROGER HOWARD isnot deserving of this reward. Trevor is- which he is also complex like Howard, but he is DESERVING of it. It’s an insult to Robin Stresser (Dorian) David, Vicky, Roxy, and Jessica- ALL complex character’s (not one dementional) who can bring complexity to GH in their OLTL roles. Sure Erika Slezak maynot want to go to california, BUT Robin (Dorian) Stresser is already out there, so is David filming Desparate Housewives. I’m sure Jessica (being a young) would go and so would the Roxy character, being a soap vet. Blair and Starr’s role, you can find on any soap, and I can’t see how they can bring a new demension to GH, as Vicky, Jessica, Dorian, David, and Roxy. Then…. with all that Stresser brought to the role of Dorian, she wasn’t even in the final HISTORIC pictures……wrong, wrong and wrong!!!!! I wrote about this earlier when I saw the CAST PICTURES, but my computer died and it didnt get posted. Even AMC brought back old character’s (and made up far fetched storyline for Dixie’s return) for Cady to be in the HISTORIC conclusion, and finale pictures. Dixie/ Cady, a fine actress, which I like, WAS NOT to AMC, as Robin (Dorain) Stresser was to OLTL. Yet, AMC reached back to her and she made the cut of the finale historic ending, along with Brook English, and MANY MANY others. AMC reached back with many of their alumn and OLTL got rid of Stresser in the final days along with Trevor, BOTH who gave their life blood, and gained ratings for OLTL for year’s on end. STROLL UP AND READ WHAT I wrote. Stresser (Dorian) should have been in those final HISTORIC pictures seated NEXT to Agnes Nixon with Slezak (vicky) Bo and Noro. It’s disgusting. Here’s a NOD to AMC for reaching back and remembering the MANY character’s that gained them ratings over the year’s. Shame, OLTL. And where was RJ? Robin Stesser, hold your head high. Stacy, thanks for thinking about what is fair and not just about who you would like to see transfer over to GH.

Hey, it’s better than putting their initals. Some people may not know their names. One person wrote the inital’s of the writers over at Y & R, and initials of other soap star’s or couples, when they intertwine their names, and I’m like who is this? I just send a reply, who are you speaking of? And they reply. In my case, you know FULL well who I am speaking of. People on here mispell words, and some post are so BAD in writing, you can’t even read them. But why bother to comment about a mispelling when there are post on here that are barely readable. I take the time and post not only the character’s REAL NAME, but the character name too, for reader’s who may not look at the show, who is visiting this site. As a reader, I rather deal with a mispelling of someone’s name (at least I know who they are speaking of) than deal with reading a blog where the ENTIRE POST is with the initials of 4, 6, 8, 10 people they are speaking of (as if everyone knows these people’s names). Or intertwining the coupling names as well. But I don’t complain! If I want to know something, if I don’t understand, I just ask them. In this case, you understand who I’m speaking of, so your are just sending me your (aggravation) the word you used, Keep it. At least you can read full well and understand my commentary. We are all stressed about this, so no need for you to send me your stress. Maybe you would be happy if I was writing in ebonic’s like some. That would make you happier. I take the time out of courtesy for my post to be understandable to the reader, and I take that time out of courtesy. We are not attacking one another, we are in this fight together.

ME will most likely be paired w/KeMo eventually, (Sorry Jolies, but I don’t think it’s…)

(For example this: I just read this below. U know how many times I had to read this. I said who is ME, that don’t make sense. Read it twice, and continue on and there is KeMo, I had to work out that name. I remember when I first ran across Jolie…..until I figured that out. And you complaining about something that you can look at and KNOW, while other people on here have to work out short cuts, or skip over it. Take your stress elsewhere.

robin strasser ,I spelled that right ,right ,she has a very serious back problems I dont believe she was snubbed at all ,she just couldnt be there,which is sad because she was a BIG part of one life to live.Everyone go to face book agnes nixons swan ,lets get her stories back ,and she can do what she has to to keep them alive and out of abc hands.

Barbara, dont worry about the speling….. these people on here have went into attack mood. I have said that to 2 people and I ran across a comment JUSaT NOW from Michael himself, pleaing everyone to STOP FIGHTING….. What on earth is everyone fighting about…. We are al inl in mourning. I read post on here that I can barely READ, or they have everyones name in initials and I have no clue, or they intertwine names like Jolie, (John and Natalie) I had to read the sentence a few times to figure out who they were talking about. And someone said something about a name mispelling when they knw full well who the person is….. CRAZY. At least they didn’t have to try to guess bc they only listed their initials. By the way, do you have the post of the telephone numbers for Disney, and all the things 4 things we ALL should be doing together….? First of all,GH was always a hospital setting. So, I don’t see any way they can incorporate those OLTL actors This is such a stretch. I am not excited. They should have fixed GH the last few years. I believe this is a ploy and I think all the soaps have to stop adding new people every few months. Why would GH only take those four actors? You can’t just put a small bandage on another dying soap. And yes, what about the Katie Couric show that is supposed to go in the GH time slot. Methinks there are demons at work here. I’m really not thrilled with the thin mob story. I think its time has run out. There is an underscore here that I’m just not bying. I would love to be proven wrong…

Nobody is signed longer than 6 months. I highly doubt they are going to pair Kemo with ME again. At least not in the next 6 months!!
Your all getting ahead of yourself and arguing when in reality, the Prez of daytime is ‘testing’ this idea. Why not let them do there job, and we can comment later what is or what should be.
I will say, John better leave Gnat the rat at the side of the road where she came from.

I wouldn’t bet on that, Deb. W/Katie’s show scheduled to premier in September, nobody’s contract may extend beyond 6 months. ME/KeMo was not only the most anticipated of the “What If” pairings, it was also hands down the favorite of all of them. FV, who directed and decided the pairings for that series, is very very aware of this – and would be stupid not to explore this. It all depends on what SB’s plans are for his future w/the show. He’s said for years that his plans will eventually be to leave LA, and move his family to a farm in Nashville.

The Mannings without Jack and Sam (why not bring them too)? Starr without Hope? John without Natalie and Liam? Todd gets away with killing Victor? It will be very weird, but it could be good for GH. Sony could use some competition; maybe Todd will get in his face. Blair and Carly could go at it. I can’t believe Port Charles having an honest cop like John. The new additions are likely to inject some fresh energy into the show. Maybe Tomas and Tea (with Victor Jr.) will eventually show up and go after Todd.

Todd could get in Sonny’s face, but not this Todd, he doesn’t have that suaveness/sav viness matched to Bernards Sonny. Trevor St.John (Victor) would be the perfect match for Sonny, BOTH standing there taking it cool, no matter what is being played to him.

How can John McBain go to GH without Natalie and Liam?? Jolie fans supported their story line for 8 yrs, FINALLY get a reunion and for what? Why would John’s character go to Port Charles without her? If they kill her off (don’t want to put that thought in the universe) it would take him months to get sober. When she was going to marry Brody he was moving to Seattle to be with Michael and Marcie. NOT Port Charles. He would never leave his son behind and if Natalie was out of the picture he still would not uproot him to a city with no family. None of this makes sense-they are sacrificing the ending for Jolie we were given to create an arc for a dying GH. Better they had ended OLTL with them together than to ruin 8 yrs. of history!!

I’d like to know if anyone knows the truth of the rumor that this whole sonny story involving the mannings has to do with victors death and also I’ve been told Ted king is coming back as Lorenzo. Considering his death was off screen it’s a good idea. The corinthos/zacchara war is worn out. I think these characters coming sets up plenty of good stories to come

I actually think this is a good idea as it would give many characters some new storylines. Maybe help break the mob stronghold on GH a bit too. Too much Sonny isn’t good for one’s health, remember?

Of course I think the biggest hurdles would be A) respect towards maintaining character history while opening the characters up to new things, B) give equal time to GH characters and the OLTL characters. C) make sure the characters are still who they are at the end of the day, nothing worse than forcing characters together that never would be.

I’m going to be positive as both a GH fan an a OLTL fan, for me its the best of both worlds, now if your only a fan of one or the other, then the negativity that i’m seeing in these post makes sense, but i want to stay positive, i’m sad OLTL got canned but I hate those who say it should of been GH. If OLTL was your show or GH is only your show then its hurtful to hear the negativity, imagine if both shows are your ” baby” then do you pick wish one dies? So i understand the crazy negativity but enough with it. no one here is an insider, so your basically guessing about GH future, wish is 50/50 so the odds would be on in any ones favor for guessing GH fate. I’m just tired of hearing everyone who is negative post their prediction just so they can later say, “I told you so” , nobody was asking to begin with so keep it to yourself already.

GH has turned into Mob Wars. Its so played. Im sick of Michael who supposed to be an adult but acts like a baby. The story lines have been going on way too long so the integration of OLTL might add a fresh look about it. Anything not related to mob activity is extremely dry. The Franco story line which started out good is overplayed and James Franco is barely on the show, yet hes referred to daily. Do I think GH shoulda been cancelled instead of OLTL…yes. But that is just my opinion. Im upset but life goes on. Ihave been scanning through GH for months now waiting for something exciting or different to happen. Maybe now, I can start watching it all the way through.

The MIchael character is way overated, given too much attention, like a child. U can tell he has been on a year now, his acting is starting to seem like Jason’s. I liked the other Michael better anyway BC he was just a free spirit as Michael and if a new viewer didn’t know, they would think he was Carly and Sonny’s son bc of his beautiful big eyes and dark features like Sonny, and blond hair like Carly. This Michael needs a life other than the mob.

I can’t remember which one of you brought it up… but I can’t get the notion of Florenzia with Sonny as Tea or a new character out of my mind… they would be so great together. The Mannings most likely are going there to get away from Todd’s murder issues… but an easy seque is to have Todd already own the paper that the ex-mayor and Diane work for… along with having bought Crimson some where in the process. I would love to see Kate drop off the planet and the ex-mayor should have been gone along time ago. Diane would be great working with Todd. Maxie could work for Todd and with Blair on Crimson. JPL would still have been a good Dillion Q. That would be nice to have crossover of characters from OLTL and a blending of ex-OLTL actors with GH. Oh… Jack can be away at school but please bring that adorable Sam… he is so much fun and very talented. The best of all would be to have TSJ there in any role… better yet… multiple roles!!!

I believe GH should get rid of Elizabeth, Steve Weber, Maggie, LuLu, Donte, the pointless ex mayor and Robin (thank God she’s leaving anyway). They need to cut down on Sonny time, too. It’s getting old.

They should make room for Victor (Trevor St. John), Tomas, Tea, Jessica and Rex.

I like elizabeth, lulu ,donte ,and robin So I agree in half of them leaving ,I would like to see trevor st john,the story of 2 todds continue.Ive watched robin grow up,always liked her ,I hope they do not kill her and do the soap opera thing and put her away in a coma ,just in case she wants to come back ,the problem with lulu and donti is they are boring,steve weber ,usless,ex mayor,what the hell is his story?always liked him on oltl,years ago, he took off with rae cummings ,shes skys mother,ok im beginning to do a roots story,anyway,as I always say,there is room for a few landview stories to continue in port charles.And for the sake of saving this show ,keep tuning in.save general hospital,or we will be stuck with katie couric.well I wont be stuck with her ,but she along with abc wants to take the general hospital spot.and in less then 2 hours for the first time in 43 years I cant watch one life to live,now thats depressing,I have no idea what Im going to do.

Yes, Tim, we knew you were being sarcastic; we were being sarcastic too;-) After learning of DePaiva’s report that ABC is misleading viewers and she is only to appear on GH for a couple of shows, it’s clear ABC doesn’t really care about importing OLTL characters and giving them major storylines. It was just a ploy to tease OLTL viewers, who never should have taken ABC seriously in the first place. Port Charles will be spared from a Llanview invasion and GH will remain its usual self right up until September when it is dumped for Katie and none of this will matter anyway.

There is talk about GH being Canceled in Sept. So BE HAPPY that Perhaps it may NOT BE, and with OLTL actors bringing fans over , It could help. WE all Love these stories! Let’s Join Together to Keep these shows strong. Stop Fighting. It’s ridiculous.
I am very sad that OLTL is over (For now). But I am thrilled to know that in Feb. I can Watch My soap continue at GH….
OLTL, Is such a great Fun Show…and All of the Actors are THE BEST at what they do……….I just love them All………Every single one of them. And I still hold out hope that someone, after this CROSSOVER…will Pick up OLTL ..I want my Show back!!

yes it seems that all the general hospital people are mad at the one life to live fans because we want a little piece of landview in port charles ,so i explain ,I am a all my children ,one life to live and a 49 years of watching general hospital fan,so Ive watched all the soaps on abc.Its a good thing some of the oltl cast is going to gh that means more ratings for general hospital, thats a good thing,And I am so happy that victor is alive I knew it, todd cant kill anyone ,he had no choice to kill his crazy mother.but if I had a choice One life to live would continue .keep fighting for the soaps,all of them ,before you know it they will all be gone .that cant happen.and general hospital has been really bad for serveral years ,it needs a facelift.the crime stuff has to go ,now that john is heading to port charles he will clean up the mess there,bo should join him.Its like the cops in port charles always arrests people but they always get out.Its the same thing over and over again.I cant wait till feb,maybe I wont fall asleep when general hospital is on.

Gloria, I totally agree! Those are 2 problems GH is having right now!!!!! Disrespect for the show’s veterans, and lack of ethnic diversity! Plus WAY TOO MUCH emphasis on Sonny, Jason, & Carly! With Frank Valentini & Ron Carlivati coming over to run things, I am hopeful that these things will change. GH is now the last soap standing on ABC, and we, as viewers, need to start supporting this show now more than ever! Yes, we’re all sad over OLTL’S cancellation, but we need to move on now and support the last soap this network has!

Paul: Thank you for your reply to where I can find OLTL now that OLTL has been taken off the web site. I found it and was able to watch it by going to ” Michael Links ” on this site and clicking onto One Life To Live. There is re-directs you to the abc.com OLTL. But there is no direct link to OLTL throught abc.com, BC the show has been taken off the site. abc didn’t waste anytime did they, even with promoting the revolution while the View raped at the end of the show, announcing to look for the revolution on Monday at 2pm. Both actions very DISRESPECTFUL by abc and stealing OLTL ‘s finale thunder. Horrible.

Michael, please tell me why Dorian, who also has given her lifes blood to the show, which I posted on Wednesday and Thursday, and Erika said something almost like that on The View as well. Why, wasn’t she given the honor of the final cast photo. Even if she came back JUST for the photo. I don’t think the fans would of mined, BC as Erika said, during her year’s of acting with Robin-she always brought her A game. There was no one else as BIG apart of that show BUT Vicky. Please tell me why she wasn’t included in the final cast photo. Right is Right. Can they photo shop her in? Can you suggest someone photo shop her in? For ALL of Trevor St. John’s efforts for 8 years without QUITTING, and the Fact that he came back to the show in the end, he too should be in that finale photo, and Photo Shop in. It’s a Historic Photo. It’s really and UnJust to Robin Strasser, and too, to Trevor St. John, but without a doubt Robin.

well lets see considering michael easton used to be on gh.. and so did ted king.. i can see ted king as being a spy because alcazar was so he just kind of walked back into that one..BUT.. michael easton was a doctor and he also play a Caleb a vampire on gh’s sister show port charles so how are u going to work that one in????? hmmmm interesting did Caleb find a cure..for vampirism.. lmbo.. anyway I AM PISSED THEY TOOK MY TWO SHOWS OFF I ONLY WATCH THEM.. USED TO WATCH GH BUT it lost its appeal.. they took away all the general hospital and made it sonny and johnny show..needs to go back to basics and bring back amc and oltl.. sighhh it will be a boring afternoon from now on..

I Love Starr, the mature firecracker. I just dont think her or Blair are GH types. GH charcters are complex. You can find a Blair or Starr on any soap channel. Complex characters you can’t like Roxy, Vicki, Victor, Jessica, David and Dorian. All of them would bering something rare to the table at GH what they don’t have other there.

I believe agnes nixons stories should stay active ,and if its through general hospital so be it ,.the whole cast going to gh ,no ,but the stories cant die .Its unfair to her that abc /pp is holding all my children and one life to live hostage.and that is wrong, I would much rather turn my tv on this monday and see whats happening in pine valley and landview.I am so upset over the canceling of oltl.and I will continue to stop watching anything on abc and fight the fight.but AS I have said having a litlle piece of landview in port charles is a good thing it will make the fans from oltl go to gh,and that means the ratings go up.for gh,there are only 4 soaps left ,thats sad.hey I thought you wanted the story of 2 todds to continue ,now that victor is alive ,it can happen.remember the cast of one life to live will go to other places ,I dont blame them .it may be a while before oltl can be put back on .if everyone is gone ,landview will never be the same .abc dismantled every thing belonging to one life to leave they kicked them out of the studio.they packed up all of landview and stuck it somewhere.thats sad,I hear katie courics big mouth show is going there,we have to start from scratch.remember when roxy and david walked off after her dream on the set of fraternity row that scene said it all.?And there are several sights where I go and alot of people are saying there going to watch gh again ,that can only be a good thing .PLEASE DONT COMPAIRE ME TO MARTHA STEWART.abc ,her cooking and crafts show canceled,why? no body wants to watch those stupid shows.THERE BORING.

star needs to be with her family ,and hopefully tia and natalie will go to port charles ,In the future ,or sooner ,I would also like bo clint roxy nigel dorian and most of all vicki,I want my family back on one life to live.the visit I made to them every day at 2 oclock will be missed ,we have to continue the fight for the soaps .or there gone .Give agnes nixon the rights to her stories ,abc is holding them hostage .let them go.

Yeah, but all those character’s cant go otherwise the show wouldn’t be GH. And that certainly wouldn’t be fair to the cast because they weren’t cancelled. I simply dont want the shows merged like that. We have to condition to fight this, facebook petition, continueing sending soap to abc. Help me by continueing listing that number for Disney, cancel cable and get Dishes and watch GH on abc channel and nothing else. And enlist your friends and family do the same. Period. Enough talk of all this merging stuff. OLTL was unique in its own right, just as GH is in it’s. At one time and for a long time, GH was the Best Show. What goes up MUST come down. That’s the law of life.
So STOP the GH bashing as well everyone. And let’s continue our fight for reprising OLTL. We can’t make GH over with OLTL character’s.

I think they are just trying to get GH’s ratings up with a special storyline to wrap up Todd and have John against Sonny. With Katie Couric’s show coming, they are trying to reach a larger audience. I like the idea of a crossover simply because they’ve done it in the past with Rae Cummings, Skye Chandler and others. But Ron Carlivati says he’s watched GH longer than OLTL and he has no intention of messing with their legacy. So hopefully they’ll reach their goal.

I hated to see OLTL go, in my opinion, I watched it for 41 years.. Great.. better story lines then OMC & GH.. I always watched all 3, but OLTL is the best… I do not care if I miss GH, but now that you have OLTL actors coming onto GH, I will make sure I do not miss it…. Sorry to see all the actors go…. Kudos to how well done the last few shows of OLTL was done, very warm, humble and classy……

I am glad to see new life coming to GH would like to see a few others come on too and hopefully it will lessen the ‘mob’ krap. You cannot have a John McBain without Natile so I hope that she comes over as well. Michael and Melissa have some of the best scenes when they are not talking .

Michael Easton and Melissa Archer belong together. It is insane that the producers would have John McBain go to General Hospital without his Natalie. Since 2003, this couple has had a rare chemistry that makes them the hottest couple on television at any time of day. Fans have been producing fabulous You Tube videos of the actors with beautiful music and artistry from their first meeting, when John uttered the words,
” You’re Natalie? ” to the moment last week when he told her “Bring those lips here.”
Jolie is the couple that people love. It has been years since Port Charles was on the air with Mr. Easton and Miss Monaco, and since then, fans have been devoted to John and Natalie. Their story must continue!

I SO AGREE. The entire time Nat was pregnant, John hated leaving her. Now that they’ve reunited and he got his son back after nearly a year, it is unlikely that he would be gone for anything more than a couple of weeks unless he took them with him. I know that GH is trying to get up the ratings and I think the strategy is good but for those of us who have watched Jolie through all the love and heartbreak, it is so odd to have John leave them and what? Possibly start something with someone else?

I am so ad odds about this. I guess I just have to shut my mouth and wait and see how it all plays out. I hear all these rumors about a merger of GH and OLTL. Then I hear Agnes Nixon is close to getting her rights to AMC back. What to believe?

Kassie says that she was asked to do a “couple of shows” in February. It doesn’t sound like a long-term gig, to me. It is starting to sound like Blair and Todd accompany Starr to Port Charles to get her settled or something and then leave. Or maybe they are all chasing after something short term. I will shut up now.

I don’t think they are doing a merger; that wouldn’t be fair to GH’s legacy to change it into another Llanview. I think they are trying to boost the ratings as GH is the last soap and with Katie Couric’s show airing around May in GH’s slot…they have to save it. I think they are going to PC to wrap up Todd’s storyline as well as give John Mcbain a challenge with Sonny. But it would make no sense for the Mannings to just up and leave Llanview, not sure how they’d explain. I am assuming JOhn willl be on a special assignment which sounds wonderful but can’t imagine he’d leave his family behind for a long period of time.

Can’t believe Anything. “Believe none of what you hear, and half of what you see”. That Quote certainly applies to ABC Disney, FOR SURE.
The way they have treated These Actors in the last year, is imo DISGUSTING. The way they have treated the fans of their own Network is also DISGUSTING.
I too had a bit of hope that they would continue to live on at GH, hoping to buy time to Then continue over at another network, or cable…
But I have also read, (with More DISGUST) That ABC destryoed THE SETS, costumes etc from OLTL…ASAP…instead of perhaps placing the items on ebay, for charity, Anything…But instead destroyed it all……….(That’s what I read, Not 100% sure if true, but 99% feel it is true)
I HATE DISNEY and all of ABC.

Yes I saw on her twitter that she isnt actually coming to GH at all, except for a few episodes. I wonder if that’s true for the others as well? Why isn’t anyone else discussing this??? SO annoying that they are totally misleading everyone!

A storyline revolving around Sonny Corinthos….really…yeah that’s original *dramatically rolls eyes* I for one am so very happy that Manning and McBain wil be in Port Chuck, now maybe we can have some other big male soap stars get some of that spotlight that’s ‘always’ shine on the characters of Sonny and Jason.Also w/ some of my faves from the 80s returning (Robert,Anna,Holly) It all gives me a reason to start watching GH again.

i really hope you don’t screw general hospital up by moving some of the actors from OLTL to GH because YOU REALLY SCREWED UP ABC BY TAKING OLTL AND AMC off the air and now I heard your taking GH off the air in Sept.2012 so what the HELL is up with that don’t get me wrong I will still watch GH because maybe John can give Sonny a run for his money but on the other hand what about Natalie and Liam not to mention Hope Sam and Jack so where are they going to be they are the children to the actors your bringing to GH I think you guys fell and bumped your heads and when your ratings drop because of what you did then maybe you’ll get your head out of your ass and bring back AMC and OLTL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

way to go granny,now sent that email to abc . com let them know your pissed, so am I and I leave messages all over there web sights,they will send you back a long email saying they get to much mail ,but they care ,just sent them another email,annoy the hell out of them ,if you want you can call them to at ,818 460 7477/663 also 818 560 1000/2 just follow what they tell you to do.I want all my children and one life to live back ,but if we have to wait awhile,seeing them in port charles is good it will move the oltl fans to gh,the soaps rule ,and we have to save them ,every phone call and e mail helps,also go to facebook and join swan we are trying to get agnes nixons stories back so she can find another network to put them on .
