Well it sure feels like it Barbara, every time I post something you seem to have a reply to it. OLTL, Barbara to you, was the best. I thought ATWT was the best, but I’m not shoving that down your throat now, am I?

I’m giving both FV and RC one month, I’ve always said that. I never not liked Garin’s writing, so I didn’t see the need to fire him, nor JFP. I didn’t like OLTL, nor how FV/RC handled the series. Their work in general is not to my liking for a soap opera. And I’ve continually told you this, and you continue to tell me “OLTL is the best.”

You see what I mean, now?

I HAVE AN IDEA AS LIKE MANY I MISS OUR SOAPS AS WELL I DONT KNOW THE LEGAL PART OF THE CONTRACTS BUT WHY COULDNT AGNES NIXON CREATE A PRIME TIME SOAP AND KEEP OUR FAVORITE CHARACTERS ALIVE
INSTEAD OF AMC AND OLTL WHY NOT COMBINED THE TWO .WE ALL ENJOYED THE CROSS OVER STORIES IF SHE DOESNT HAVE THE RIGHTS TO THE SOAPS BUT DOES SHE HAVE THE RIGHTS TO THE CHARACTERS? TV SHOWS TODAY ARE HORRIBLE WE HAVE THIS AMAZING LADY THAT STILL HAS A STORY TO TELL BRING THEM TO PRIME TIME LIKE THE GOOD OLE DAYS OF DALLAS DYNASTY ETC… BUT BETTER WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO BRING OUR SHOWS BACK TO LIFE LETS DO EVERYTHING BUT GIVE UP .SHOWS COME AND GO THROUGH OUT THE YEARS BUT THESE ARE NOT JUST TV SHOWS THEY WERE APART OF AMERICAN LIFE

I totally agree with everything you said and I too have been a fan for 35 years. OLTL is and always will be my favorite show. I have been watching old clips and revisiting amazing Jolie scenes and becoming jealous of the fact that Dante and Lulu (whom I do enjoy as a couple) get to have their wedding and some couple screen time but Jolie won’t??? ABC shortchanged OLTL and I have lost respect for my once favorite network. I still miss my OLTL. I used to look forward to watching it every day and at this time I can’t say the same about GH. Sorry I just can’t… it doesn’t have the heart that OLTL had…it doesn’t have the humor….it doesn’t have the amazingly fun, endearing, and compelling stories that OLTL had. Sigh…

No one at ABC cares about the soaps fans that put a lot of money in their pockets over the last 40 years. So if you think that we care about ABC you’re wrong. I want my AMC and OLTL back. I know that will never happen. But it’s good to know they can sleep in the bed they made.

The smart move would be to bring back OLTL…and to keep GH… I would also like to AMC brought back.. other that GH I refuse to watch anything on ABC…local or national…I don’t dislike the host and crew of the Revolution and I wish them well ..I just wish they could find another place to work and bring back our soaps…
